Casting “Paste”, an AFI Thesis Film. Submit on Actors Access!
PASTE is a poignant story about love, and its sometimes ephemeral nature. MARC is a straight-laced art gallery owner in Los Angeles, who is depressed after ending a long-term but unhealthy relationship. SADIE is a street-artist who always lives life in the moment, carefree and never thinking of the future. Over the course of one night exploring the exciting underbelly of LA’s art scene, Sadie and Marc learn that connection can come from the most unlikely of places, and that sometimes things are more magical when you know that they won’t last forever.

Casting “Skinny Jo”, an American Film Institute Thesis Film. In Depression Era Mississippi, SKINNY JO is a fiercely independent young woman who’s out to take care of her family, and nothing will stop her. She sells stolen goods for the money needed to buy marijuana from TOMBI, the Choctaw medicine man, in order to treat her mother’s epilepsy. Casting an American Film Institute Thesis Film Directed by Thomas Takemoto-Chock. This is a story of KEN, a Japanese American middle school teacher in California,1942. His school is isolated and poor – the buildings are cheaply constructed from wood and border a desert.To celebrate the upcoming New Year, KEN prepares a special Japanese rice treat for his students, called mochi, which he packs into one of the many tin boxes from the mess hall kitchen.
